We’re a certified Growatt installer. We fit Growatt batteries and inverters, on new solar systems or alongside panels you already have, across England, Wales and southern Scotland. Our own engineers do the survey, the electrics and the commissioning, and set up your monitoring before they leave.

What we fit.
Here’s what we fit, how it works with the system you have, and what to expect on the day.
- Growatt batteries, sized to how much electricity you use in the evening and how much spare solar you have. See what size solar battery do I need?
- Growatt hybrid inverters, which run new solar panels and a battery from one unit.
- Growatt AC-coupled battery systems, which add a battery alongside the inverter you already have, whatever make it is.
Existing solar
Adding a Growatt battery to solar you already have.
- An AC-coupled battery works with any make of inverter, so your existing panels and inverter stay as they are.
- If your inverter is old or has failed, a Growatt hybrid inverter can replace it and run a battery too. See hybrid inverters explained.

Grid charging
Charging from the grid.
A Growatt battery can also charge overnight from the grid on a cheap time-of-use tariff, then run the house through the evening peak. That makes it useful in winter, when the panels make less. See solar battery not charging? if yours isn’t.
How it works
How an installation works.
- Survey. We look at your fuse board, where the battery and inverter will go, your existing system and your electricity use.
- A clear written quote before any work starts.
- Grid paperwork. We tell your network operator, or apply first under G99 if the system is over the G98 limit.
- Installation day. Our own engineers fit the battery and inverter and do the electrics.
- Commissioning and monitoring. We set up the Growatt app so you can see your solar, battery and grid use, and show you how it works.

Can you add a Growatt battery to my existing solar panels?
Yes. An AC-coupled Growatt battery works alongside any make of inverter, so your existing system stays as it is.
Will a Growatt battery affect my feed-in tariff?
It depends on how it’s wired. We set the battery up so your FIT payments are protected, and explain the options at the survey.
Can a Growatt battery charge from the grid?
Yes. It can charge overnight on a time-of-use tariff and run the house in the evening, which helps most in winter.
Do you repair Growatt systems you didn’t install?
Yes. We repair and service Growatt inverters and batteries whoever fitted them.
